Closed over the Winter months. Minimum of 4 people. Exotic farm Animals, Trailer ridethrough milking herd, feed out to cows and milking shed visit. Please allow approx. 2.5 hours for the whole tour experience. Special rates for preschool, school visits and large groups. Please feel free to enquire. Tourist attraction of a fully guided tour of the animals, which can be touched and fed. Included in the price is pony rides, feed for the animals and complimentary coffee/tea. WELCOME TO FARM ENCOUNTERS. Enjoy an up close experience of our New Zealand Dairy Farm. Where our milking cows graze on lush green grass all year round and produce delicious natural fresh milk. This milk is made into Anchor products and exported around the world. Tickle a pig, stroke an emu, feed an alpaca, pat a pony, ride a donkey and go on a trailer ride through a herd of milking cows and visit a traditional kiwi milking shed. Om livet i Åkerhuset. Fredag 26. august 2011. Nærmer se slutten tak o lov! Fy filler`n dette har virkelig vært slitsomt! Nå ser vi frem til å komme i orden her i Åkerhuset, og jeg kjenner at jeg vil stortrives tross mygg. Mygg er noe som ikke finnes på Farmen så uvant er det, men vi har jo begge vokst opp med mygg så det så. Det føles veldig godt å komme hjem igjen.
