Rural living in an urban setting. February 21, 2015. Ham and Swiss Scones. Yield: Makes 8 servings. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 tablespoon baking powder. 1/2 cup cold butter, cut into 1/2-inch cubes. 1 cup whipping cream, divided. 3/4 cup (3 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese. 3/4 cup finely chopped baked ham. Preheat oven to 450 . Stir together first 3 ingredients in a large bowl. Cut butter into flour mixture with a pastry blender until crumbly and mixture resembles small peas. Freeze 5 minutes. May 28, 2016.

I love candles and I hate when they don’t burn evenly and you are left with candle up the side of the jar, a deep well in the center, and even a lost wick. There seems to be quite a bit of candle left and I really don’t like to waste it. Here is an easy. Place your candle in the sauce pan and add enough water to bring it up about to 1 inch. You don’t want it too full to avoid boiling over. Look how much candle you have left! There you go; you have salvaged...

Farmgirls In The Kitchen. 1 1/2 Gallon Milk. 2-3 Tbsp. plain yogurt (starter). 1 8-10 Qt. Stockpot. 1 4-5 Qt. Pot with Lid. Dial Thermometer with clip. Fill larger pot with water and begin bringing to a boil. Add milk to smaller pot and carefully place into larger pot adjusting height of water keeping milk and water the same.
