Donna and all things Crossfit. Thursday, April 26, 2012. Day 3 at NW Crossfit Bellevue. 3 Squat cleans at 73# (Rx was 95#). Rest 1:00 Between Rounds. Total work time: 16:27 (3:08/3:29/3:34/3:38/3:38). I just calculated this and had no idea I held it pretty close together in the later rounds. Nice! I ate an apple an hour before this. I think it helped. Monday, April 23, 2012. Day 2 at NW CF Bellevue. 15 KB Swings (@25#, Rx was 1 pood). Weaning off bad foods like sugar and dairy for about two weeks now....

Donna and all things Crossfit. Thursday, September 27, 2012. Metcon: 3 rounds of. 20 med ball cleans (14#, rx). 100m OH carry (25# plate, rx). 20 BS (75#, bm). Despite persisting soreness in quads from Monday's thrusters and in back/glutes from Tuesday's DLs, I decided to go knowing three days off were to follow. The 75# BS felt particularly heavy today but I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Sunday update: quads still moderately sore. Might have to bite the bullet and take a few more rest days for them.

Donna and all things Crossfit. Friday, January 25, 2013. Back squats in pregnancy. Strength: Worked up to 115#. 21-15-9: hang cleans (65#) / front squats (65#). With that said, 65# is light for me in this WOD so I went rx'ed. I tried to go as steady as possible and broke up all my sets at least once. Donna and all things Crossfit. Friday, November 30, 2012. Almost two weeks since last WOD! Strength: 4 x ME deadhang pullup: 1-2-2-2. Metcon: 21-15-9 OHS (45#, mod) / TTB / PP (45#, mod). First WOD in almost two weeks. Thanksgiving and a long week of working late made it difficult to get in the gym. Decided to take a lighter weight just to get back into things. Monday, November 19, 2012. Fran rx'ed: 8:45 (8 sec PR over 6/9/11). Post: 3 rounds of 20 hollow rocks / 1 min plank / 30 sit ups. 5 rounds 3 C&Js.

Donna and all things Crossfit. Thursday, January 31, 2013. Strength: DL worked up to 155# but I can't remember. Framrap (11 min AMRAP): 6 thrusters (65#) / 10 pull ups. 6 rounds 1 thruster. If this was a straight Fran, I wouldn't have picked 65# to throw around but since it was only 6 reps, I could do it. 65# has been feeling light for me lately but that will probably soon end. Everything about the WOD felt ok and I really had to manage my rests as thrusters is one movement that winds me. August 14, 2009.
