Farm Road Quilts: Improvisational Zipper Bag
http://farmroadquilts.blogspot.com/2015/04/improvisational-zipper-bag.html
Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Had a "improvisational zipper bag" exchange last week, so I thought I'd share the bag I made. This is as improv. As I get. I had some B and C Happy Go Lucky wedges left over from a project, and thought they'd pair perfectly with Moda Linen. I pieced the wedges, added the linen strips, backed it with fusible batting and a green print, and quilted it with simple straight lines. For the back I just sandwiched linen, fusible batting and the green print; no quilting. It was a fun swap!
Farm Road Quilts: Quilt Finish!
http://farmroadquilts.blogspot.com/2013/12/quilt-finish.html
Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Just pulled my American Jane scrappy trips. Out of the dryer and am enjoying all its crinkly goodness. That's the moment that makes it all worthwhile, isn't it? This one was done in record time - 11 months (less than a year is a record for me - not counting baby quilts). There are (36) 12" blocks, set 6 x 6, for a finished size of 72" square. (For free instructions, go here. Note: photo added 12/5. Next up - quilting my 12 Days of Christmas quilt. Lily's Quilts Fresh Sewing Day.

Farm Road Quilts: Happy Go Lucky Quilt Top Done & Another in the Works
http://farmroadquilts.blogspot.com/2014/11/happy-go-lucky-quilt-top-done-another.html
Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Happy Go Lucky Quilt Top Done and Another in the Works. It's been a little while since I finished this quilt top, but haven't shared it before now (I don't think? It's made up of simple strip-pieced pinwheel blocks (8" finished) using 18 Happy Go Lucky. Oh well, I still love it. Not sure how I'm going to quilt it yet. Maybe with straight or curvy lines, or a curvy design in the white areas. Have to give that some thought. So, I went looking on Pinterest. Labels: In the store.
Farm Road Quilts: About Me
http://farmroadquilts.blogspot.com/p/about-me.html
I'm Stacy Cooper. Married 32 years to my best-friend; mom to 4 great kids ages 12-28; grandma to two cutie-pies. I have loved sewing and making things my whole life. We live on a 1/2 acre on the outskirts of Las Vegas. The minute my youngest started 1st grade (5 years ago), I started my business Farm Road Quilts. An eBay Store). About a year ago, I opened my fabric website, farmroadquilts.com. My husband built me a wonderful studio on our property, so I can work at home - which I love! Get posts by email.

April 2016 – A Little Patchwork
https://alittlepatchwork.wordpress.com/2016/04
Learning to patchwork – a little at a time. Strawberry Biscuit Blog Hop. April 27, 2016. April 27, 2016. Contacted me and asked if I wanted to join the Strawberry Biscuit. Blog hop I was so excited (and fairly nervous). This collection was a firm favourite the moment I saw it on her Instagram feed. I knew that with such pretty and cheery fabric I wanted to make. I couldn’t find an art case pattern so instead I came up with a simple design that I then embellished with fabric stamps, hexies and a fussy cut...

Nutz4Redwork: Dare to Dresden
http://nutz4redwork.blogspot.com/2013/01/dare-to-dresden.html
Tuesday, January 29, 2013. Who knew that the Dresden (aka as the Friendship Ring, Ester, Dahlia or the Sunflower block) could create so much eye candy this week? I am truly awed at all the creativity I have seen. While looking for the block above from Eleanor's class, I found these lovely, beautifully hand sewn blocks. I had forgotten that I had them! My neighbor gave them to me a couple of years ago. There are twenty blocks! She thinks that one of her aunt's may have made the blocks, but wasn't sure.

Merry Gay in Stitches!: January 2013
http://merrygayinstitches.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Merry Gay in Stitches! Wednesday, January 30, 2013. I am so excited to be a part of the Dare to Dresden blog hop organized by Madame Samm. Over at the “Sew We Quilt” blog and Christine. At the “Quilt Monster in My Closet” blog. Last summer, I started playing with my EZ Dresden ruler and made a bunch of Dresdens. I appliqued them all down onto some plain blocks. Then I decided that it was just too darn plain! Much better, I think! 8220;that Other Blog”. It Seems to be Sew. Merry Gay in Stitches. And if yo...
