A large commercial harbour at Seahouses is the hub of activity for day trips and pleasure boats that visit the islands hourly. A couple of miles south of Seahouses is the fishing village of Beadnell, where Farne Island Divers is operated from. Public boat launching facilities are provided through Beadnell Bay Boat Launch.
