Far Side of Fifty: February 2015
http://farsideoffifty.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Far Side's Attic and Woodshed. Far Sides Attic and Woodshed Carvings for sale. Saturday, February 28, 2015. The snow out in the open is filthy. Top soil is in the ditch. It is good for the wildflowers! Thank you corporate farmers for plowing and disking your farm land so it can blow into the ditch where the wildflowers grow! Not exactly a winter wonderland…although many are wondering where the snow is…especially those snowmobilers. This is a field. Diagonally across from us. Far Side of Fifty. Some of my...

Far Side of Fifty: January 2015
http://farsideoffifty.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Far Side's Attic and Woodshed. Far Sides Attic and Woodshed Carvings for sale. Saturday, January 31, 2015. January and Pooping Alone. January seems like such a long month. It’s almost over. January was warmer than normal for which we are thankful. With above freezing temperatures came rain and ice. The dirt roads leading off the main highways are like skating rinks. Honestly you could skate down them. The main roads are much better…of course they have been heavily salted and sanded. Far Side of Fifty.

Far Side of Fifty: County Fair
http://farsideoffifty.blogspot.com/2015/08/county-fair.html
Far Side's Attic and Woodshed. Far Sides Attic and Woodshed Carvings for sale. Saturday, August 1, 2015. Our County Fair is this week. We decided to go over on Friday because that seemed to be the coolest day to go. Years ago the fairgrounds used to be grassy with shade trees…not so much anymore, it was dusty. We walked through the Commercial Exhibits and picked up another reusable insulated grocery bag! Then we headed to the 4-H exhibits to see how my cousin’s daughters did. This is her last year in 4-H.

Far Side of Fifty: August 2015
http://farsideoffifty.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Far Side's Attic and Woodshed. Far Sides Attic and Woodshed Carvings for sale. Monday, August 31, 2015. The air is still filled with a haze from the forest fires. The particles in the air turn the sun orange. I could complain about my itchy allergy eyes but I won’t because eye drops make them feel better…and those people closer to the fires must be struggling far worse than my itchy matter filled eyes. Just so you know Chance has eye boogers too. The harvest continues in our area. Far Side of Fifty.

Thank you Mr./Mrs. Farmer for planting sunflowers for me to enjoy… and everyone else that passes by. Far Guy wanted to run an errand in town, it was partly sunny…could we stop by the sunflower field? Far Side of Fifty: Evening Drive
http://farsideoffifty.blogspot.com/2015/08/evening-drive.html
Far Side's Attic and Woodshed. Far Sides Attic and Woodshed Carvings for sale. Monday, August 3, 2015. Sunday evenings ride gave us a deer count of five. Most of those deer were in the pea field down the road a bit. Steve grows peas to feed to his hogs. The peas were beaten down by winds last week…last year the deer were belly high in the peas. They were pretty hungry. Last week the corporate farmers combined the pea field right across from our driveway. Sunset and the neighbors barn. Far Side of Fifty.
