FBC Amarillo in Russia - 2010! One more time .". Saturday, July 31, 2010. Well, tomorrow we return from our tour. Somehow, calling it anything less than that which constitutes and indicates combat sells the team short. To say it was a good trip . well . just won’t do it. Have you ever wanted to be a part of something unique? Is this not true for our hearts as well? I go to bed now, with the hope of three hours sleep before our journey begins. We’ll look the same, but we’ll be different...I have laughe...

Welcome to flippinfamily.org. Saturday, January 30, 2010. I am approaching an age where one typically looks back on one's life and examines past decisions, actions and contemplates where one is, compared to where one MIGHT have been. I would have been the laughing-stock of the medical community. Nursing has been good to and for me. A wise choice for my strengths, weaknesses, and also to have a chance for gainful employment in troubling economic times. (Just ask Rob). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). It's a ne...

Welcome to flippinfamily.org. Thursday, October 28, 2010. Bubble gum, pecan shelling and the provision of God. Last year we did not get any nuts from our trees. And oddly enough, I did not require therapeutic pecan shelling. This year we are having another difficult period, caring for people at the other end of the life spectrum. And God in His merciful kindness has once again given me an over-abundance of pecans. I see many fall/winter evenings of shelling in my future. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). It's ...

http://flippinfamily1.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Welcome to flippinfamily.org. Monday, June 7, 2010. I am peri-menopausal. In less than a month I will turn 50 and my body has decided it needs to change the hormonal balance it has done so nicely with for these many years. Thanks to my aging processes, I suddenly throw back the covers and exclaim aloud in the dark "It's HOT! Or so says my husband, if you believe such tales) I will be perfectly content, sitting watching a show with my family and will NEED the fan turned on NOW! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://flippinfamily1.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Welcome to flippinfamily.org. Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Christ's birth-celebration is over and the new year is approaching. This year I will be 50, and my husband is quickly approaching the same number, too. We have decided to be better people in 2010, better to ourselves, each other, our close and extended families, and hopefully the world. (We're not taking on too much all at once, are we? It's Rob's "resolution" to begin with and I stole it from him (and added some bits). The money that we have be...
