Sunday, June 28, 2009. I have some pictures from our weekend. I have gotten lazy about posting on the blog. Nate is growing. His shirts are getting shorter. His hair is thicker and has a great shine to it. He is running and living life to the fullest. Rachel's hair has given her an older attitude. She is having the best summer. Riding horses, girl scout camp begins tomorrow, and enjoying being outside. June 28, 2009 at 8:23 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 3 countries 1 family.

Dragon Adventures: November 2008
http://dragonadventures.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 30, 2008. Those are the words Rachel said on Thanksgiving Day. We had eaten our Thanksgiving feast, and decided to go outside to play. Nate was in his swing and Rachel was pushing him. (Pushing Nate in his swing was something she had been looking forward to doing for a long time.) John, his sister, and I were talking when she announced, "This is the best day ever.". Just goes to show that the little things are what it is all about! Thursday, November 27, 2008. From our family to yours.

Dragon Adventures: October 2008
http://dragonadventures.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 31, 2008. Rain and more rain. Well, the rain continues and is likely going to rain the entire next week. Flooding! Boy, water past your knee and higher on some roads. John went out this morning and returned soaked. He is enjoying touring the side roads. Regardless, we ventured out with the other families to Hanoi. Hilton. It was quite humbling to see this place, right next to our hotel, where many prisoners were housed. We can actually look out our hotel window and see it. A great room to ...

Chocoholic goes to Vietnam: November 2008
http://chocoholicgoestovietnam.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 05, 2008. Guess that’s what happens when you go against your original word and seek private funding vs public funding that McCain stuck to. 80 billion dollars can buy a lot of votes. I’m just saying…. We need to pray the best choices for our country in war are made so we’re not fighting the battle here in the US! Pray the best choices are made for health care so we don’t have to pay 50% taxes (no matter what your income! To our government to pay for Health Care! I pray that our countr...

http://mamma-wannabe.blogspot.com/2007/12/jag-har-faktiskt-velat-skriva-terigen.html

Ava Linh: April 2007
http://avalinh.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
The story of our travel to Ava. New York, USA to Thai Nguyen, Vietnam and back. Monday, April 30, 2007. We did not qualify for early intervention - it is a good thing! It is official, at eight months Ava is not experiencing any developmental delays. It is one thing as her parents. And makes great spit bubbles and clicking noises. Now that she is starting to get a little bit bigger she is fitting into some of the outfits we received from friends and looks adorable! Against Kurt's idea to get a Kelty.

Solbergs Squared: July 2007
http://solbergs.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 30, 2007. Well, the girls are officially US citizens. They have both received their Certificate of Citizenship from the US govt. This is a big step for us because living overseas has made this a little trickier, but we are done! The girls had their second round of immunizations last Friday. They handle the shots really well, so let's hope that continues. Audrey, as I had expected lost about half a pound and hadn't grown, but Quynh had gained about a pound and had grown an inch. Audrey is in ...
