Sunday, November 29, 2009. I also blogged about brining. Brining was relatively easy, cheap and definitely worth it - our turkey was the juiciest turkey we've ever tasted, thanks to the brining. Matt, who is not a huge fan of turkey, is now a firm believer in brining. Here is a picture of the end result:. Sunday, January 11, 2015. I cannot believe that it's been 6 years since this little lady came into our lives! Happy 6th Birthday Kaylen! We had a mini celebration at home on her birthday! Tie dye cupcakes with blue frosting (her fave color right now) and 6's and peace signs and a K and zebra print on the cupcakes! We also made 30 more to send to school (her poor teacher)! Today school was canceld but nothing stoped us from playing in the knee deep snow. the snow was so deep hayden (my cat) could not stay up most of the time so he was jumping in are foot steps.the snowmen i bilt looked like thay where swimming in the snow.
