Along side the ploughing competition there are many mechanical marvels on display. Take care when walking around the displays and machines but feel free to ask questions. The Festival of the Plough. Once you have one tractor, you’ll want another. Those not taking part in the ploughing matches are on display. Some fully restored to better than new, others left original with a nice patina. Everything from a Fordson N 28hp 1939 to an International 444 1974. There is also a good display if vintage vehicles form motor bikes through cars to heavy commercials and coaches.

The Festival of the Plough. On display in the poultry tent are a wide variety of rare breeds, in all shapes and sizes. The model tent has hundreds of scale models, some fully working. Outside on display there are the stationary engines - the main source of power for farms before electricity made things simple.
