http://thelongplayer.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
A celebration of long playing records. Saturday, 22 December 2007. I've never been one for Christmas songs myself. If I hear Noddy Holder screaming 'It's Christmaaaasss. I cover my ears and head for the hills. Unlike my fellow blogger Mondo. I can fairly blaise. On a Christmas compilation on the cd. F my favourite records and my Mum at least loved it. The most recognisable track on the album is a feedback driven version of 'Little Drummer Boy'. Low a few bob when it was used on a GAP tv. Low add their ow...

Floating In Space: January 2009
http://marmiteboy-floatinginspace.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
There Is Only The Music. Thursday, 29 January 2009. John Martyn 1948 - 2009. The death of British folk singer John Martyn has just been announced. John's music was some of the most inventive music of the genré and it is a very sad loss. It isn't the right time to regale many of the many fantastic stories about John's rather full life so I'll leave you with this, John and his partner in music and crime Danny Thompson performing the timeless 'Solid Air'. The Long Player: November 2007
http://thelongplayer.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
A celebration of long playing records. Thursday, 22 November 2007. Solid Air - John Martyn. The album I never expected to buy. Solid Air - John Martyn. Beardy faced acoustic based singer song writers have little appeal and minimal interest for me - John martyn was the bloke who wrote 'May You Never' on Clapton's deeply dreary album 'Slowhand'and one of thé performers I skipped on the marvelous Old Grey Whistle Test DVDs to get another performance. May you never lay your head down. Without a hand to hold.

A Peel A Day: May 6 2003 - 2/5 BZ
http://peeladay.blogspot.com/2008/08/may-6-2003-25-bz.html
Wednesday, 27 August 2008. May 6 2003 - 2/5 BZ. A session from 2/5 BZ, who appears to be a Turkish man who makes a sort of industrial electronic kind of noise. He has a remarkably broken Myspace page. Gang of Four, Ellen Allien and The Samurai Seven also feature tonight. Peel show - May 6 2003 - 2/5 BZ. 27 August 2008 at 16:36. It's not really a conscious decision - it's just that the conversion process is slightly less lossy if I don't do any editing at all. 27 August 2008 at 22:22. Http:/ www.bienn...
