This weekend we've been on a very long day trip. Festus played two times during the day, the first time at Anglesey. very early in the morning. When we've stopped at South Stack Cliffs, at 6am, after 2 hours of driving, he was extremely happy to play. It is an on-lead area, but as we were the only ones there and there were no nesting birds on site, we've decided to let him play off lead. You may also like: Circular walk with dad. A walk and play in the woods, a perfect way to spend a morning. Festus, as usual, carried the largest trees he could find. I was considering getting a safe-stick for him, but they don't make them big enough for Festus. Carrying huge branches up&down the hill is another favourite pass-times for Festus. He had a few issues with his equilibrium on top of the tree. But it was funny he was trying and trying and trying. rottweiler style. You may also like: Sniffing for Santa. Festus turned 5 yesterday, so we had to celebrate with cake, special lunch and a gift. More pictures with the cake at the end of the post, this is only a sneak peek. Festus, waiting "patiently" for his new toy. He loved it. A strong (not Festus strong, but fine for 1 day) rubber ring. After the play, we went for a walk in the beautiful Port Sunlight. So many green spaces, it's a lovely place. Isn't he cute in the phone booth? The special lunch was very simple: "rare" beef. You may also like: Formby.

Walking by the Jubilee river. We walked Festus by the Jubilee river on our last trip to London, this month. It was early morning and it felt rather cold for July. By midday the sun was up and shinnying, but Festus was tired and sleeping at that time. He was a little tired after a run and play with a big branch.
