Thursday, November 30, 2006. My officemates) corrected me upon reading my previous post. Apparently, only when I'm in the room, Cody is a more quiet when he's on the leash. When I leave the room, Cody tries to follow me and gets to the end of his leash. When he can't go further, he is frustrated and whines. Given this new information, Maybe the best solution is to use the gate when I am not in the room, and to leash him when I return. Or just take out Cody's "whining" vocal cords. In a previous entry.

Sunday, July 30, 2006. I just want to take this time to complain. Let me recap and then you can understand why I must complain:. Saturday morning: I called PetSmart to see what the requirements were to drop off Cody for the day on Sunday. I specifically mentioned that I would like to leave him on Sunday and they specified the appropriate documentation I would need (just vaccinations pretty much) . Sunday, April 30, 2006. I wrote earlier about the good weather. Since the weather is much nicer, my trainer has demanded a more vigorous workout schedule. This is the plan:. MWF are light days - 2-3 miles in the morning and perhaps a 1 mile walk in the afternoon or evening. T and Th are 2 sets of 4.5 miles - 4.5 from home to work in the morning, and 4.5 from work to home in the evening. Monday, October 30, 2006. Cody officially graduated from Intermediate puppy class. That means that he should be coming when he's distracted and doing all sorts of distraction-related activities. He actually went through a test which he did well on. This was the trick:. 1) He had his Gentle Leader. On during the test. 2) We ran for 2 hours right before class. We're going to practice a bit more and then start some agility or good citizen classes after we master the distractions. By the way, Happy Halloween!
