One Runners World: March 2010
http://onerunnersworld.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
My view of running and surviving in the city. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. It took all the willpower I had to force myself out the door for the speed workout tonight. And there was nothing, absolutely nothing, pretty about it. But, truth is, I run to elevate my strength and push myself, not to just enjoy the better days. Distance: 3.5 mile warmup, 10x400 1x800, 3.5 mile warmdown. State of Mind: Mind over matter, more sunshine please. Monday, March 29, 2010. Distance: 9.7 miles. Sunday, March 28, 2010. Find m...

One Runners World: December 2010
http://onerunnersworld.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
My view of running and surviving in the city. Monday, December 13, 2010. 2010 has been a mystery to me. So many mistakes. Seriously. So many moments when I couldn't contain my emotions. Way too much second guessing. Newness beyond my belief. Just the thought of the year brings me to tears. Well, it's either that or the Bright Eyes that I can never seem to turn off as the night crawls on. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Joe Kleinerman Near Capacity/Other Marathon Qualifiers. One Runners World: June 2010
http://onerunnersworld.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
My view of running and surviving in the city. Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Chapter three, career wise, began today. To be honest, it seemed quite similar to my NYC agency life.which should make the transition quite easy. But like any day of doing new things, I was pretty exhausted when returning home. I think I have to dig real deep to find that sweet, innocent, acceptable "Corre" when meeting 150 new people. I have never loved that side. I wouldn't say I am sad, just struggling a bit I guess. With my "vaca...

One Runners World: September 2010
http://onerunnersworld.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
My view of running and surviving in the city. Monday, September 6, 2010. Week 8: A Different Me. This week proved challenging for the runner in me. I am not sure what it is, but I feel different. Not bad different, just different. Maybe the chiller side of me is coming out, or maybe I am just coming down with a cold.but the fierce runner in me was non-existent this week. But back to running, the little there is to report:. Distance: Maybe close to 20, eek. State of Mind: We'll see what next week holds.

One Runners World: Sweet & Sour
http://onerunnersworld.blogspot.com/2011/01/sweet-sour.html
My view of running and surviving in the city. Saturday, January 1, 2011. Moving from 2010 to 2011 is sweet and sour, all in one little bite. It's a relief to move beyond last year, but in so many ways I still don't feel ready. My indifference and inability to see clearly makes me feel less ready than ever to take the next step. Distance: Over canyons, under water, sinking into the sand. State of Mind: Being happy for what I do have in this moment. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Amy In the moment.

One Runners World: April 2010
http://onerunnersworld.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
My view of running and surviving in the city. Thursday, April 29, 2010. Although my memory is excruciatingly bad, I think I can say that I have been actively practicing yoga for about 10 years now. In college at the local gym, at the beautiful SBYC in Santa Barbara and now in LL with my beloved Ali. And even though I am tragically not even close to inverting with confidence, I did get one step closer as my hips released even closer to giving me the trust to extend my legs.
