Eliza was born 2 Oct 1883 in Snowville, Box Elder, UT, daughter of Richard and Fidelia Chapman Babbitt, and 9th of 14 children. She was baptized 20 Aug 1892, at the age of 8. He died 16 Jul 1954 in Rupert, ID, at the age of 72.
