Sunday, February 3, 2013. I saw an old friend at the grocery store the other day and she inspired me to write this post. She thinks I am really healthy and that I only eat fruits and veggies all day long. Ha ha ha! Boy would she be surprised to know I go through about 25 lbs of white flour and 10 lbs of white sugar every couple of months! Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Some thoughts on Motherhood. Being a mother was and is my all time dream, but I am not going to lie, I often struggle finding joy in it! I don't feel bad saying this because I have conferred with all my close friends and this is a common feeling among mothers! I am trying to do better and have been inspired by a book called "Daughters of God: Scriptural Portraits," by S. Michael Wilcox. Proverbs 31 is awesome! I didn't realize (or remember) that is is loaded with the good stuff!

Sunday, May 31, 2015. Mara's dance team had the opportunity to perform at Lagoon! It's always so much fun watching her dance! It's something she loves and is constantly having 'dance parties' in our home and dancing around the house! Love this little dancing girl! Warming up before her competition starts! The team stretching and practicing before it starts. The song they danced to was called Enchantment. From the movie Tangled. Mara has such a great group of girls she dances with! Me and my mini-me!

Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Utah Valley Half Marathon. My first half marathon! I can not imagine doing that twice. Hats off to you full marathon runners out there! You're a little crazy in my book. Anyways, 1-800 Contacts paid for Josh to run the race. I planned to run it too, but kept procrastinating on the registration. When I finally went to register it was full! So I had no problem with him leaving me in the dust! I discovered two products of which I am now a big fan. July 6, 2011 at 8:14 AM.
