Firstlight Studios have been producing commercial shots for over 10 years. Primarily the focus has been on a particular market, natural crystals and minerals. There are many challenges involved when photographing these items and the same techniques apply to jewelry, watches and anything shiny! We have learnt by applying many different techniques and equipment and have now branched out into commerical photography specialising in products and packshots.

The standard packshot photography prices are shown in the table to the right. This price includes the photographs of your products shot on a neutral background. It also includes:. High resolution 300DPI files for print use. Web-ready 72DPI versions of all images. White background with a choice of natural shadow or reflection (additional £1.50 per image for both options). Basic photo editing to remove dust and any minor flaws. Online delivery of images. Royalty free unlimited use of all images.

Writing With Light
Tuesday, April 21, 2009. While in New York for my son, Isaac’s 30th birthday party last week, I found myself reflecting upon more than two decades of photojournalism and commercial photography. Writing With Light, my first book, was a collaboration with my wife, Kathy Wonson Eddy, who is both a pastor and a composer. Kathy wrote the text and I provided imaging. No longer in print, it was published by United Church Press. Lesson learned: Kathy and I desired more dialogue in the next work.
