One of the Hardest Things I’ve Ever Done. Brandon, Kara, and Addelin Reed. Giving my money to the local church that I’m a part of was one of the hardest things that I’ve done in my faith journey. That may come as a surprise to you, since I’m a pastor on staff at a local church. So let me explain…. How will you trust God with your finances? How will you be generous? https://brandonreed.wordpress.com/2012/08/27/big-news-for-aqua-college-ministry
BIG NEWS for AQUA College Ministry. We called it AQUA. In the 2 years that we have been connecting college students with the story of the Gospel, we’ve done things very simply. We met once a month, in an auditorium in the heart of APSU. But, we’ve grown to a point where we are ready to move to a once a week. Starting this fall, AQUA will be moving to once a week on Thursday Nights. And we will be partnering with Awaken Church. And will be gathering in their venue at 585 South Riverside Drive. Enter your ...

I can vividly remember sitting in my bedroom with a small 13 inch tube television lighting my bedroom with strong winds and heavy rain swirling outside. My parents had just come into my room to turn on the weather channel as threats of a Tornado became a reality for Clarksville in 1999. And that changed Clarksville. Renewed: September 2012
http://marissa-renewedeachday.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 28, 2012. I desire so much to be free from the things that are weighing me down, that are keeping me from all the potential God sees in me. I have allowed bitterness to sink into my soul because of the many that have hurt me or my loved ones. Allowing the "OK" of the bitterness just because of the unrighteous actions of others is not OK. It keeps us prisoners to anger and therefore, sin. So as this new beginning begins, I am praying that I am willing and that what ever comes my way, God...

Saxboy's Blog: September 2009
http://saxboy.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 08, 2009. I am not sure who reads this silly thing, but it gives me a chance to post my rambling thoughts of nonsense out there for anyone crazy enough to read. For a few years now my idea of "church" has been evolving. During those few years that we were at MBC I began to read and learn what God has told us the "church" should be and how it should function. I pray that I never again just attend a "church" service. I pray that I will remember that "church" is not about a routine or...

Saxboy's Blog: November 2008
http://saxboy.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 30, 2008. So as you can see we had a great time and of course good food! As I have mentioned in earlier posts I have come to realize the importance of family and spending time with them. So this Thanksgiving I am listing just a few of the many things that I am thankful for. That I serve a loving, merciful, and gracious God and that He continues to bless me daily even though I don't deserve it. And proud that I live in the United States of America where we have so much freedom. Two weeks ...
