Sunday, April 4, 2010. So it is setting in.I have lost 75 lbs. It was not easy and the battle will never be over. If you have seen my family you know that every one of us has a weight problem.I chose to do something about it. I have gone from a size 22 to a size 10. I wore a size 8 jean skirt yesterday! The Life and Times of Sam Luna. Monday, July 6, 2009. Track, Tri's and Track. So over the past month I have been busy! I raced in the Friday Night Rice All-Comers Meet. June 19. I ran in the mile and ran a post college PR of 5:07, last year was 5:12 and the year before was 5:18. So steadily improving. I competed in the the Memorial Sugar Land Triathlon put on by Finish Line Sports. As usual, there was a great showing by the Fort Bend TriPsyclones. At the race and as volunteers. Wednesday, April 21, 2010. IMNO 70.3 Race Report. When we went to packet pickup, I found out my race number was 1000! How lucky was that! Race day came and I was ready. I had trained according to the Vineman training plan we purchased a couple of years ago and only missed about 3 workouts total over the 12 weeks due to work. I knew this was my year and wanted a major PR! Vineman 70.3 Swim Time - 52:09. IMNO 70.3 Swim Time - 57:57. I had my own fan club just from my race number! IMNO Run Time - 3:04:31.

Wednesday, September 16, 2009. I was thinking today and have come to the conclusion that I am ready to race! After last year's Vineman 70.3, I took some time off and then I only competed in 2 triathlons this year. I did the MH Sugar Land Tri in June and River Cities in August. I am BORED! I was running this morning and the sun was out and I was having a great run when all of a sudden I thought, WHY HAVEN'T I RACED IN SO LONG? Monday, September 14, 2009. Nobody puts Baby in a Corner.
