How to get there. Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites are 14 km (8.4 miles) by road west of downtown Victoria, B.C. Head north on Douglas Street (Victoria's main street) until it turns into Highway 1. Follow Highway 1 for 5 km (3 miles), then take the Colwood exit (exit #10). Fisgard's keepers are listed on a sign in the old kitchen. Some stayed for years, others only lasted a few days!
