King Salmon (Chinook) are the largest of the wild alaskan salmon. All of our salmon fishing is done in the prisitine waters surrounding Gustavus which means that our salmon our usually bright chrome in color and excellent table fair. Fighting a big king salmon is sure to get the adrenaline flowing. Kings have speed, power and stamina, making it one of the most highly sought after species in Alaska. How do we get there? Alaska Airlines flies into Glacier Bay (Gustavus) daily in the peak tourist season. The airport code is "GST". Outside of the peak tourist season you will fly into Juneau, Ak (JNU) and take a commuter flight from Juneau to Gustavus. You can also travel to Gustavus/Glacier Bay by boat. YOU CANNOT DRIVE HERE.
