So far this is what we’ve completed and when:. March 13, 2008 – Ordered David’s birth certificate for the second time. (Later we found the original we’d ordered back in September 2007). July 10, 2009 at 10:28 am ( Adoption. Ethiopia has not had enough rain to generate power for the entire city of Addis Abeba each day. I have heard that the city is divided in half and each half gets power on alternating days. With this in mind, I would assume that government institutions would know on which days they will have power and on which days they will not. Either way, I am beyond frustrated with this process. New Court Date! | O Happy Day

July 14, 2009 at 10:37 am ( Adoption. Yesterday we got a call from Molly at BFAS and she told us the great news: we have a new court date scheduled for July 27th! Thirteen days from today :o) You can probably imagine how excited we are. If (still must say *if*) we pass court we should expect our embassy date to be August 27th and we will leave Charlotte on August 22nd to change our lives for. Their dates are at the end of July! When our orphanage representatives went to the court today to file again for baby J the court didn’t have our family file available, but they said they will go over it and grant us a court date on Monday.
