The Old Fisherman's Trail Challenge is a -20km race between Fish Hoek and Hout Bay. The route follows a similar route the fishermen used to take to cross the mountains that separate the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. The race s start and finish points alternate each year between Fish Hoek and Hout Bay, giving it an "up" and "down" race. 2016 will be the UP RUN! The up route is the slightly quicker. Highest Point: Blackburn Ravine. Route: Route will be mark on single path and jeep track.

2016 brings on the 13th Old Fisherman's Trail Challenge and we will be running from Fish Hoek to Hout Bay, know as the up run. It is a -20km trail run. With most of the run been on single path the race is limited to 250 runners on the mountain at one time. The route is marked and each runner given a full route description and route map before race day.
