We recommend the following air charter services for travel between Anchorage and the Gulkana airport. From Anchorage, takeGlenn Highway (#1) east for 187 miles. At Glennallen, take Richardson Highway (#4) south towards Valdez for 14 miles. Turn left onto Old Richardson Highway at the 2nd Copper Center turnoff. Take the 2nd right onto the unmarked Airport Strip Road, just past the gravel pit. Continue straight ahead and you will reach our lodge.
