It reminded me of a poem I wrote many years ago:. After a rain shower of modest profusion. The worm population erupts in confusion. Transformed from their normal serpentine state. They sprawl on the driveway mathematically straight. Being parallel and neat, their precision's inspiring,. Being baked in the heat they just lay there expiring.
