Twirlybird Teaching: Back to School Unit
http://twirlybirdteaching.blogspot.com/2012/07/back-to-school-unit.html
Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Back to School Unit. I was in Target and Walmart yesterday and could not believe all the back to school items that are out already. I had to contain myself from buying too much. The hubs (who is also a teacher) could not have been any more disinterested in all the brand new pencils, crayons, pencil grips, plastic storage containers. I need storage container intervention. Come on.how many of you get a thrill from brand new school supplies? I know I am not the only one! Find a Bud...

Elementary Organization: quite a crafty closet {part one}.
http://elementaryorganization.blogspot.com/2014/06/quite-crafty-closet-part-one.html
Wednesday, June 4, 2014. Quite a crafty closet {part one}. Ever since I girly-fied our office last summer. It's quickly become one of my favorite places. Everything has a home here, and those homes look good, if I do say so myself. Nice and clean and full of white and gold. The truly tragic part of the room, however, was the office closet. I don't even want to show you close-ups. Clearly, the poor closet needed a massive overhaul, but seriously, it's just a closet, so I wanted to accomplish the following...

http://secondgradestyle.blogspot.com/2014/02/currently-february.html
Saturday, February 1, 2014. I'm a bit confused since I've been off school for the past 4 days due to snow. Here's my currently for this month:. Listening: I'm currently still relaxing in bed and am enjoying the quiet. :). Loving: Since I've been off school since Tuesday, I have sincerely enjoyed sleeping in. I can't sleep in much these days - 8:00 is about the latest, but it is nice to wake up and not have to rush to be anywhere. Most mornings I've enjoyed some reading or watching TV. Needing: I need to ...

Following Our Calling
Saturday, June 5, 2010. I took the kids out to the local library for a meet and greet with character's from the PBS show Super WHY! Marnina was really excited because it was "just like Disney World" (i.e. meeting the characters). Can you tell that she has Disney on the brain - even four months after our trip? And here's one more of our adorable boy. He's growing so fast! He is such a happy baby, though. Marnina loves being a big sister. And I'm loving being their mom. Friday, June 4, 2010. Following Our Calling One Day at a Time
Thursday, July 28, 2016. The Three Musketeers and Advocacy Post. Once upon a time there was a beautiful little blonde girl named Milena. Milena spent her days in an orphanage in Eastern Europe. The care she received was very good but there were several other children there and she didn’t get the one-on-one attention she deserved. Milena saw several of her friends leave the orphanage to go home with their new mommas and papas. By that time, most of Milena’s friends now had families of their own, in ...
