Summer Getaway to Brewster. July 24, 2015. Brewster is known for it's extreme high and low tides. This is low tide at Breakwater Beach. It's hard to swim, but great to explore and look for hermit crabs. I think my guy spent 2 hours on his hermit crab playground! Paine's Creek is one of our favorites, because there's a river. This is high tide - the water is deep! What's summer without playing in the mud? It's a great learning opportunity and fun to climb up to the top! For produce, the Brewster Book Store.

Book of the Week: Strega Nona. August 13, 2016. My son loves pasta! We have read the book Strega Nona so many times, and each time he imagines having a magic pasta pot at home. We love Tomie dePaola's illustrations in this version:. Strega Nona: Book and CD. In keeping with our love of experienced-based gifts, my sister gave him a homemade pasta making class at Create a Cook. In Newton.
