Hot Plates in Hotlanta. Monday, December 14, 2009. Event takes us to a restaurant in Midtown Atlanta- Dogwood. For this adventure, we are accompanied by two of Donna and David's friends. It was good having them with us. Dogwood is a Southern cuisine. Restaurant with an upscale flair. When David 1st suggested this restaurant, the 1st thing that stood out about this menu was their. As the wine of choice for the night. GOOD CHOICE! The grits with pulled pork and a tea BBQ sauce. Dave ordered the caramelized.

Location (Virginia Highlands). We were pleased to have my younger sister, Ronnie, join us for this meal. I really wanted her to get a feel of the level of cuisine that we have grown to love. Chef Eyester. We arrive to be greeted by Dave and Donna who always manage to make it to the restaurant 1st. I love that! I ordered a Duvel.

Hot Plates in Hotlanta. Wednesday, November 26, 2008. This dining experience takes us to Nava. Is another restaurant that is part of the Buckhead. Come to the table and we are anticipating another good meal. The trio consists of a chicken taco in a blue corn tortilla, a crab cake, and a tamale. The chef really kept to the foundation of Mexican cuisine. Our entrees arrive in short order. Angela got the grilled organic chicken breast with Green chile. Mac and cheese with red chile. Sauce on top of the steak.

It was a pan seared 9oz Hallibut fillet with a caper sauce and the gorganzola Mac and Cheese. The Halibut was perfectly prepared and the caper sauce was really good.
