Saturday, November 9, 2013. On the highway for the first time in a week! Up rte 81 for our leap frog towards home, we stopped just over the Virginia line in Abingdon, Daniel Boone country. I actually walked past the marker for the wolve's den where his dogs were attacked by said wild canines. Who knew? I had read about the Virginia Creeper rail trail in magazines and online, so we have toted the bikes along for 600-700 road miles in the hopes of a nice day's ride. The lovely models of my studio lighting project "Seventeen for a Moment" have returned for the summer to help me with an outdoor essay. We're working with predominantly natural light and some local settings. The first shoot featured Main St. Bel Air, "my town." Little did we know that it was actually Ladies' Night Out while we were cruising the streets. Nicole always brings a whole lot of fun and a bit of attitude.
