Wife of a Sailor. 8230;an infertile's life as a submariner's wife. March 20, 2015. Skipper arrived late last Tuesday after 48 hours of labor and 21 hours in the hospital. She surprised all of us–doc included–by being a tiny 7lbs 13oz and 20 1/2 inches long. No 9-10lb baby here! Her birth story, including the complications we both had after, will come.
