Six Items Challenge | The Organic Experiment
http://theorganicexperiment.com/double-dog-dares/six-item-challenge
It seems my closet is bursting at the seams. The origins of the various frocks are far and wide. Thrift store gems to high end labels I’ve got them all scientifically crammed into my two (yes two) closets – and under my bed – and in the laundry room – and in storage. It’s somewhat obscene. In January of 2012 I signed up for the Free Fashion Challenge. Considering how drastic the challenge is I did pretty well. I lasted 7 months before caving into my desire for a spectacular Eileen Fisher. First of all it...

Cultural Omnivore: January 2012
http://culturalomnivore.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 13, 2012. I didn't make a new years resolution but on the 2nd of January there was a documentary on TV that definitely made me think that Buy Nothing Year might be one. Overal spullen / Stuff Everywhere by Judith de Leeuw painstakingly reveals how much stuff she has in her house, because she sets out to count it all! Bekijk de video in andere formaten. So too late to really stick with the good intentions. Earlier on I had read about the 5 pieces wardrobe principle. Are definitely more bra...

One Closet One Year
http://oneclosetoneyear.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
November 2010 One Closet, One Year. One Closet, One Year. When confronted with the age old adage "I have nothing to wear! Birth of a project. I was getting dressed for a friend's birthday party and I didn't know what. I was going to put on my body. I looked in my closet and it seemed empty, unpromising. I've had these moments before; everything was old, ill-fitting, or blah. I thought to myself, "Ugh! I have NOTHING to wear! It was my New Years' project:. One Closet, One Year.
