Freebairn Family: Back to School . . . and Lily's Four!
http://freebairnfamily.blogspot.com/2012/01/back-to-school-and-lilys-four.html
January 06, 2012. Back to School . . . and Lily's Four! This week Lily turned four and had a wonderful day! She spent the morning enjoying her mountain of gifts (mostly clothes, since she outgrew everything while we were gone). She got lots of her favorite things: puzzles, workbooks, play-dough, and dresses. Tyler loved the chaos and even helped out by modeling Lily's princess high heels. Love it! And, in the afternoon, the first day of school! They are getting so big! Lily was more excited that first da...

Freebairn Family: Back to School - the NEW school!
http://freebairnfamily.blogspot.com/2013/08/back-to-school-new-school.html
August 21, 2013. Back to School - the NEW school! Michael was OVER-THE-MOON excited for school to start this year. They built a new school for our neighborhood and we've been talking about it FOREVER! Neil Armstrong Academy is a STEM school (science, technology, engineering, math), but we just happen to live in the boundaries and will be lucky to attend. Stephen won't be back home for a few days, so he was sad to miss the excitement. Michael insisted we take pictures of everything. Construction everywher...

Freebairn Family: Back to School
http://freebairnfamily.blogspot.com/2010/11/back-to-school.html
November 01, 2010. Next to Lily, and assured me he needed to do it just the same this year. Although, we forgot his backpack. They've both gotten so big. The best change this year, however, is that a good number of his classmates are his friends from our ward and he's so excited to play with them every day. We all get a kick out of the days when the "stroller brigade" to and from school includes 4- 5 double strollers and piles of younger siblings in tow. If only we had a picture of that!

Freebairn Family: April 2012
http://freebairnfamily.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
April 23, 2012. Ah, the Backyard! After living in busy Sydney, several stories up over all sorts of shops and stores, it's a true delight to have a backyard again. These little ruffians spend all day in the backyard, getting into anything they can think of! Here the kids were getting Tyler to pose and show his desperate need for a haircut, but they all sort of ended up looking like orphans. . . Michael is a flipping fool and loves to show us his latest tricks on the trampoline. April 13, 2012. He is cert...

Freebairn Family: January 2012
http://freebairnfamily.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
January 31, 2012. January has been a wonderful month settling back into "normalcy" here at home. Daddy's been taking a break with us and it's wonderful to be near friends and family again. Here are a few things that have been keeping the kids busy. Puzzles - Lily can't get enough of them! Michael's been teaching Lily how to ride a scooter, even if it is freezing outside. They just love having a yard again! We're just relieved we don't have to name the new baby Oscar anymore. Tyler didn't seem to remember...

Freebairn Family: May 2012
http://freebairnfamily.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
May 30, 2012. Ryan kept us up late his first night, as we took some time getting to know him, feeding him, and finally eating some food ourselves. For the first time with one of our babies, they asked Mommy to go see the bath in the nursery, along with Daddy. We had a wonderful time watching him get scrubbed and squeaky clean. He didn't mind the scrubbing, but did mind the colder moments. He was happy to get under the heat lamps and have a relaxing health assessment. Even though we knew things would be s...

Freebairn Family: May 2013
http://freebairnfamily.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
May 30, 2013. Today Lily graduated from the Valley Crest Preschool, where she's been learning her letters and more for the last two years. We joined her for a little program and some treats. She did some wild dancing for one song and told everyone she hopes to be a veterinarian when she grows up. She has had a wonderful year with Miss Julie and Miss Lynette. I helped each morning with the lending library and had lots of fun watching her with her cute friends, including a few from our neighborhood.

Freebairn Family: Our Coogee Boy!
http://freebairnfamily.blogspot.com/2011/09/our-coogee-boy.html
September 12, 2011. As of today, Michael is a Coogee boy! We went early this morning, bought a couple uniforms, and left Michael at his first day of "kindy" at Coogee Public School. He was so excited! Stephen got permission to go into the studio late and we were all able to see him off. We love the mandatory hat ("No hat; no play! I just laughed inside. That an American would take a peanut-butter sandwich to school? According to him, school in Australia is "better than ten cakes all mixed together." ...
