We are all booked to fly out of Osaka and land in Minnesota Saturday, August 20th at 6 pm! Max and I will spend a few weeks socializing in MN while poor Scott has to head to Montreal the next day for 2 weeks of work, but then he will rejoin us for 2 weeks of vacation. We plan on leaving MN around Sept 15th to road trip to our final destination in Montreal, Canada. 月 (month in Japanese) Max! Max is currently accepting applications for his "Best Friend" position. Daddy busted Mommy and Max taking a nap.

Our little Peanut is getting big! Now he coos, smiles, laughs, clicks, stares and giggles everyday. He even rolled over for the first time in our Baby and Me Yoga class last week! He is the star pupil. . .in my eyes anyhow :). Happy 3 mois (months in French). Shakin' a doggy tail on my doggy quilt! Starting to turn a week before the big roll. The weather in Montreal is starting to turn cooler but we still manage our daily Starbucks walk with a few more layers and rain cover. Our drooly little jester.

Let the 1st continue . . . Happy 1st birthday Monkey! Thank you G and G Freeland for flying into Montreal for Max's birthday! You made it a special day. Bring on the dairy free cake. However, we now know our delicate flower isn't as delicate as originally thought. After some testing we learned he is NOT allergic to diary . . . Hallelujah! Thank you cousins for the cool WY gear! We love and miss you lovely ladies! Thank you Liz for the adorable handmade Monkey for my Monkey! The kisses haven't stopped.

Holy bananas, it's been forever since we last updated on our growing Monkey! Max is now running, jumping, climbing, dancing, chatting, following "selective" directions and expressing his independence (mama could do without on occasions) but he is still our adorable sweetie pie. We'll let the pictures do the talking . . . Since turning 1 our little jet setter has lived in Montreal, Quebec, Toronto and Vancouver with trips to Minnesota in between. Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City. Such a gorgeous city!

Our little Monkey is officially a BIG BOY! Crawling, walking and one word calls are a thing of the past. We're onto running, skipping, talking in full sentences and disagreeing non-stop. "Mine" and "no, no" (with a head and finger shake) continue to top the list, but "pleeese" and "thanks" are a close 2nd. Sunday, March 23, 2008. The first weekend of Spring Break we went down to Houston to visit my sister. It was a lot of fun to see my nephew, he is getting so big. We went to the Houston Rodeo.
