I spent the next two months taking numerous trips to the Hilo Library so that I could read up on Kenya and start familiarizing myself with some of the animals and their calls. It was an exciting 2 months, but I was also incredibly torn in leaving Nic for two and a half weeks. I have a hard time when he has a 24 hour shift at the station! Our last long leg from Amsterdam to Nairobi. Our tent at Wildebeest.
