I've taken to using other people's work rather than my own. so it figures that Once a Month Mom. Would decide to go to paid subscriptions. Good on 'em, but not really my style. Adventures in My Freezer. Once a month cooking for the real world and the two-person family. Saturday, July 31, 2010. A couple years ago, I bought some green bean seeds to plant in my garden. It seemed wise, until my first picking of beans when I realized neither of us really loves beans. Enter the solution: pickles. I haven't eaten any yet, as they need to sit a couple of weeks, but I like pickles of all varieties and expect these to be great. I used this recipe: Crisp Pickled Green Beans.

Thursday, January 24, 2013. Porter and brian worked so hard for 2 days on porters car. It sure paid off. We went to the race. porters car raced 4 times and took 1st place every time! Cooking Up A Storm. Saturday, December 8, 2012. Lara's Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas. 1 lb pound chicken shredded. 1 can of Chicken Broth. 2 c Sour Cream. 1 can of green chillies. 350 degrees, 20 minutes in the oven with foil on top! 10 minutes, under the broil, make sure to remove the foil and broil until the cheese is brown. Boil chicken and shred. Chop one onion and saute in oil. Add chicken, chillies, and cheese (monte.) in a bowl, set it aside! Remove from the stove, add sour cream! A Recipe A Day.

Cooking Up A Storm. Sunday, June 22, 2014. Here's my recipe for pie crust:. 25 cups of flour. 1 1/4 tsp of salt. 1 stick of butter. 6-8 tbps of cold water. Add flour and salt. Sunday, April 21, 2013. 1 cup of unbleached white flour. 1 cup of whole wheat flour. 1 cup of old fashioned oats. 1 tsp of baking powder. 1 tsp of baking soda. 189; tsp of salt. 2/3 cup of raw cane sugar. 1 ½ cups of yogurt or sour cream. 188; cup of virgin coconut oil, softened. 1 tsp of vanilla extract (I used Epicure’s). 1 cup of frozen blueberries. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
