Wedded Bliss Road: Year of the House Update
http://road2weddedbliss.blogspot.com/2015/07/year-of-house-update.html
Monday, July 27, 2015. Year of the House Update. We're more than half way through 2015. Our 10 year house anniversary is coming up in 3 months, so I thought I'd see what we've finished so far. In January, our list seemed pretty big, but little by little, we're getting there! The gutters were cleaned and the house was power washed. The three dead and dying trees were taken out. We planted three new trees - Vanderwolf Blue Pine. They started about 5 feet tall, and are already about 6 feet tall. Love your f...

Wedded Bliss Road: June 2015
http://road2weddedbliss.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 15, 2015. While it may not technically be summer, it sure feels like it! It has been hot and so very humid. I love summer weekends. This one started with lunch on Friday with my friend Kelly and her sweetheart of a little girl. David might disagree on Sunday being a nice day, as he worked most of the day with an uncooperative dump trailer. I wouldn't be much help with that, so I spent some time in the back yard enjoying the view from the hammock before the rain started. Tuesday, June 9, 2015.

Wedded Bliss Road: November 2014
http://road2weddedbliss.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 17, 2014. Oh The Weather Outside Is Frightful! It really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas! It's been very cold, and yesterday we even got an inch or so of snow! I don't normally decorate quite this early, but our travel plans plus a late Thanksgiving mean that it was either now or the middle of December! These are a couple of my favorite new additions. The little feather tree has dried oranges and my applesauce cinnamon gingerbread men. Monday, November 10, 2014. Many craft proj...

Wedded Bliss Road: College Roommate Reunion
http://road2weddedbliss.blogspot.com/2015/07/college-roommate-reunion.html
Sunday, July 26, 2015. This weekend I was able to get together with my college roommates. Christina and I were roommates all four years, and Jen and Lorie joined us for the last two years, although we were friends with them before that. It's been about 15 years since all four of us have been together, and we had the best time. We brought photo albums from college and had so much fun looking at the pictures and laughing. Love those smiling faces! Lasting friendships stand the. July 29, 2015 at 12:20 AM.

Wedded Bliss Road: Shoe Sightings
http://road2weddedbliss.blogspot.com/2009/05/shoe-sightings.html
Thursday, May 7, 2009. Update: Here are the shoes so far! Lately I have noticed quite a few shoes that have been abandoned on the road. On my way to work a few days, there were a total of SIX shoes who'd been separted from their owner! If you see an abandoned shoe on the road, feel free to add it using the shoe sightings form. There will be a link back to this post on the sidebar. :). This is fun, can't wait to see what we learn about abandoned shoes! May 7, 2009 at 7:49 PM. Update on Shoe Sightings.

Wedded Bliss Road: Long May She Wave
http://road2weddedbliss.blogspot.com/2015/06/long-may-she-wave.html
Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Long May She Wave. I love summer decorating - almost as much as I love fall and Christmas decorating. I usually put up the flags and such around Memorial Day and leave them up through the summer. Why limit that fun just to July? The new Olde Glory sign is also an Etsy find from Rusticpiks. I think the 1776 looks neat in our bicentennial-inspired house, and it's the perfect fit for the space between the stove and the vent. June 9, 2015 at 7:56 PM. June 10, 2015 at 11:30 AM. Meet Me ...

Wedded Bliss Road: January 2015
http://road2weddedbliss.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 10, 2015. I have seen many FB posts wishing already for summer now that Christmas is over. But there is something to be said for this season of hibernation. The decorations have all come down, and the house is back to a state that it hasn't seen since I put fall stuff up in September. It's as minimalist as I get. Sweaters are warm and fluffy. And I don't feel the least bit guilty about staying in for a nap when it's cold outside. Neither do the critters. Friday, January 9, 2015. On Chri...

Wedded Bliss Road: Odds and Ends
http://road2weddedbliss.blogspot.com/2015/08/odds-and-ends.html
Monday, August 10, 2015. The upstairs landing got a little facelift. I replaced a rug with a my favorite rug color combination - Joseph's Coat 778 from Colonial Braided Rug Company. This little chair was white. When I painted a bookcase a few weeks ago, it got a coat - or three - of red as well, followed by a layer of antiquing wax. When it was pink after the first coat of paint, I was pretty sure I'd made a mistake, but I like the way it turned out. Completed the update. I think Gracie approves!
