Family of runners all born on Friday! The final stage of ENDURrun: THE MARATHON! August 17, 2015. A very hot and slow marathon today to finish ENDURRUN. My slowest marathon ever but the most emotional. Place Manny. If I started at 6 am when it was much cooler and had a more comfortable marathon (temperature wise since the legs would still have been dead), and she started at the official race time of 7:30 am when it was starting to heat up and if I was able to erase her time lead on me and pass into 11.

Instead of turning left I turned right and discovered another long road to explore and captured another sunrise shot. As I was running by the field I saw a deer galloping along and then it stopped and stood for a while. Of course it finally ran away when I stopped to take a picture. This is Lake Waubesa. Those are pretty scary looking clouds!

Dad had open heart surgery in 1992 and the next year the replaced valve got infected. He went into the hospital and died at the end of the second surgery on July 31.
