I put 2 layers of 4 oz cloth on the ama, cut the iakos to fit, and rigged up the rudder and pedals. We went to the canal to make sure the rig was right, and Kaile took off! She paddled under the bridge and wanted to go out in the “real ocean”. She wanted to paddle to flat island, but I didn’t have any way to go with her so we went home to get my SUP. ON HER FIRST DAY OUT.
