Saturday, 5 July 2008. I have witnessed my first ever experience of a ball, also my first ever Air Force event. The Summer Ball is said to be the highlight of the social calendar. Tuesday, 9 September 2008. After coming back from Europe I was a little culture shocked. It was as though I was driving a car at full speed and it suddenly stopped dead! I guess that's to be expected after 2 and a half weeks of non-stop travelling, site seeing, socialising and drinking. So it took me awhile to readjust to the slow and quiet life of Lyneham. But I'm back to normal now - working, sleeping, eating, watching tv. I've been a bus. The view was so beautiful with all the green fields and farms a...

Sunday, 22 June 2008. And you thought I was on one big holiday. ha! Well, it all started last sunday. In the morning I received a phone call from my best friend, Aleisha, in Oz. It was so good to hear her voice and chat about her recent engagement and she asked me to be bridesmaid! I am so excited! I then drove the family to London and took them to the airport. Off they went to Mauritis. without me. I began my holiday and it has certainly been interesting. Then the cookies all melted into one in the oven.
