However, because it’s so laid back, sometimes it’s a bit tricky to plan ahead, because we have no idea who will turn up to celebrate with us, so organising food is something of a ‘hope for the best’ operation! The tappers had decided to go to church in the morning and then went out tapping afterwards, so Lamin had to wait quite a long time until they returned with our order (in a large oil container) before coming home.
