May 9, 2006 at 12:41 am · Filed under General Plant Stuff. With the coming of spring and warmer weather, I have been so busy! Repotting wandering jew, spider plants, african violets, etc. The lettuce is doing great, and all the houseplants love the sun. I repotted oregano into a strawberry pot. I should take a picture, its going to look great once it settles in. My Caladium bulbs did rot, though. thatll teach me for getting them at Wal-mart. Stay tuned for a picture post soon! 3 Comments ». April 25, 2006 at 12:11 am · Filed under Cactus Garden. I had 2 beautiful amaryllis bulbs. and after the leaves were dead I put them in a cool space in the basement. This was last fall. I just checked on them, and both were rotted. I guess thats a lesson to take the bulb out of the pot before you store it for dormancy. I just put 12 caladium tubers down, in 3 seperate pots. They are all assorted colors, so it should be neat to see what comes up. The houseplants are loving it outside! 1 Comment ».
