Busy busy busy | Prefers Full Sun

https://gardenchickadee.wordpress.com/2006/05/09/busy-busy-busy

May 9, 2006 at 12:41 am · Filed under General Plant Stuff. With the coming of spring and warmer weather, I have been so busy! Repotting wandering jew, spider plants, african violets, etc. The lettuce is doing great, and all the houseplants love the sun. I repotted oregano into a strawberry pot. I should take a picture, its going to look great once it settles in. My Caladium bulbs did rot, though. thatll teach me for getting them at Wal-mart. Stay tuned for a picture post soon! 3 Comments ». Awwww | Prefers Full Sun

https://gardenchickadee.wordpress.com/2006/04/25/awwww

April 25, 2006 at 12:11 am · Filed under Cactus Garden. I had 2 beautiful amaryllis bulbs. and after the leaves were dead I put them in a cool space in the basement. This was last fall. I just checked on them, and both were rotted. I guess thats a lesson to take the bulb out of the pot before you store it for dormancy. I just put 12 caladium tubers down, in 3 seperate pots. They are all assorted colors, so it should be neat to see what comes up. The houseplants are loving it outside! 1 Comment ».

https://gardenchickadee.wordpress.com/2006/04/14/seeds-down

April 14, 2006 at 4:25 pm · Filed under African Violets. The plant room looks really empty now. mainly my African Violets. I think Im gonna take advantage of this space and put a large number of leaves down. I also sowed some seeds. 2 packs of Columbine, 3 different types of morning glories (Picotee Blue, Dwarf Blue Ensign, and Flying Saucer), and a different brand of cactus seed. Im gonna see if there are any other varieties. Rel="bookmark" title="Permanent link to Seeds down" class="permalink" Permalink.

April 18, 2006 at 6:00 pm · Filed under General Plant Stuff. Last night I went by Home Depot. again. The morning glories and cukes have already germinated, along with the broccoli. Fast little buggers, eh? And I have a Christmas cactus in full bloom. I guess they really like the green room! Someone should fill him in that its. April. Not Christmas. But as long as hes a happy little plant, then I am happy too. Rel="bookmark" title="Permanent link to More seeds! 1 Comment ». September 3, 2008 @ 3:22 am.

Lettuce, herbs | Prefers Full Sun

https://gardenchickadee.wordpress.com/2006/04/17/lettuce-herbs

April 17, 2006 at 3:33 am · Filed under General Plant Stuff. Today I sowed some lettuce seeds in a windowbox on the deck. I look forward to seeing how they do. Yesterday I also went out and got some seeds — green beans, cukes, butterfly weed, etc. Rel="bookmark" title="Permanent link to Lettuce, herbs" class="permalink" Permalink.
