Monday, July 15, 2013. Our Garden in May. The cold temperatures this winter were conducive to a very attractive bulb garden in May. A fiesta of tulips in a rainbow of colors. Our neighbors across the street compliment us every year, but this year the tulips put on a spectacular show for us. Hyacinths, Daffodils and Crown Imperials. Interspersed between the tulips and daffodils are English bluebells that are replaced by grape hyacinths. Highlights of Our May Garden. Orange Crown Imperials on the left.
