Ruminate vb. to chew (the cud). Camellias P & Q. End of Month View. My love affair with Camellias started soon after I moved to Cornwall. The climate here suits many of them particularly well and they are found in every garden of any size, often in large numbers and great diversity. I have been photographing them for many years and would like to share my pictures in the hope that others will come to love them too. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. All my little seeds are coming up – so exciting! Parsnip, leek, and onion. I make a lot of soup, mostly some variation of onion plus veg plus cumin or coriander, chilli, red lentils and coconut milk, based on this recipe. No point to soup unless you can stand a spoon up in it! So the tiny sprouts are all soup in potentia. Meanderi...

April 27, 2015. As wedding favours the bride and groom gave out the sweetest teeny tiny bottles filled with (I think) cornflower seeds. I’ve sown these in a seed tray as our slugs have form on devouring emerging cornflower seedlings. also I’d like to be certain what they are before I plant them out! Days 28, 29 and 30.

Some busy days in the garden, in glorious sunshine which is making the grass grow like billy-o and all the weeds come out to play, too. As well as the weeds, my seeds are sprouting beyootifully, with the broad beans now showing themselves above ground and the sugar snap peas elbowing their way over the centimetre mark.
