As we begin looking at the second part of Psalm 80, let's start where we left off in Part One - with verse 7 (see above). This is the plea of the psalmist, the cry for mercy, for the Salvation of YHVH, for His favor upon His wayward people. Why should He do it? Why should He listen? Why should He act on behalf of this people?
