Just another WordPress.com weblog. Archive for March, 2009. Laquo; Previous Entries. Posted by garethwatkins on March 31, 2009. Remember people, try not to be the one tomorrow. I’m already involved in one that may result in an aneurysm. The malicious infliction of pain upon a coworker is fun. Each one is the basis for movie. Or, at least, an episode of an average teen-angst drama. From one of the best photojournalism blogs out there. I can’t help myself, I want one. If only all TV could be like this.

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Archive for October, 2009. Kevin Smith talks. A lot! Posted by garethwatkins on October 14, 2009. Last night I had the pleasure of seeing Kevin Smith. On stage at the IndigO2. It’s tricky to catagorise what exactly I saw in any way more useful than to describe it as a Q&A session. Which sounds considerably duller than last night’s experience. Listen to his podcast. Read the transcripts of his podcasts. And then there are the ones that are really obsessive. And, foll...

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Archive for April, 2009. Laquo; Previous Entries. Posted by garethwatkins on April 30, 2009. I wish I had the financial backing to even have ideas like this. Listen to your elders. This’ll make your head hurt. What worries me is that this is real. Google slipping through the back door to social networking. See if you can work out the number of layers involved in this. Well that’s breakfast sorted. Fan fiction at it’s best. I found a woman making a phonecall in a nightie.

Current work underway…. Posted on March 3, 2011. 8220;Disintegration of the Bull”. Welcome to my new site, I hope you enjoy it! After graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia, I returned to New England and my home state of Maine. In the years to follow I took time to complete two paintings each year furthering my studies and interests of abstract art which in turn lead me towards abstract expressionism. How do I approach such static symbolism in a distinctive and kinetic manner?
