What grows in my garden. Tuesday, May 14, 2013. The bold and the bashful. Flowers do have personalities, don't you think? Jen @ Muddy Boot Dreams. Ginny's garden: "Every end is a beginning"
http://ginnysgarden.blogspot.com/2013/05/every-end-is-beginning.html
What grows in my garden. Sunday, May 19, 2013. Every end is a beginning". When you look at the year with a gardener's eye, where do you see the beginning? Maybe winter, when you plan and dream for the season ahead? Or are you like me, and view the beginning as the time those first green shoots and buds appear? The beginning of this gardener's year was late. A look back at photos has confirmed my. Suspicion that the garden blooms have been appearing a week or more later than they did in 2012. And put on a...

25 Acres: Gentle Melodies on Breezeless Air
http://25acres.blogspot.com/2014/10/gentle-melodies-on-breezeless-air.html
Saturday, October 25, 2014. Gentle Melodies on Breezeless Air. Frisbee flies and football spins over a flood lit field in front of me. Splashes and laughter from a pool behind me. Guitar and gentle melodies over my left shoulder. The air in undetectable. Perfect. It is Saturday night and I am at Grand Canyon University. How I would love to be 20 again and part of the fabric of this place. A skateboarder hitches a short ride at the back of a campus golf cart. My heart fits here, anonymous as I am right now.

25 Acres: And Now My Brother
http://25acres.blogspot.com/2014/04/and-now-my-brother.html
Wednesday, April 2, 2014. And Now My Brother. I haven't wanted to write about it. I haven't wanted to believe it. But, it's time. It has been two months since my oldest brother passed away suddenly. Though it is intellectually very real, it remains emotionally surreal. It was the last time I saw him. It was an incredibly sweet last moment. The Fisherman gave me that. God gave me that. It was the most painful experience of my life. It was wrenching pain. No! This can't be real! April 2, 2014 at 11:23 PM.

25 Acres: White Picket Fence Header Photo
http://25acres.blogspot.com/2010/07/white-picket-fence-header-photo.html
Wednesday, July 14, 2010. White Picket Fence Header Photo. I love this white picket fence! I took the picture in Ninilchik. Alaska a few years ago. The Fisherman was working and I headed out on a short road trip by myself. I was aiming for the town of Homer which is a very artsy community with lots of galleries and artist studios. As I was driving down the highway I caught such a grand view of Mt. Redoubt and Mt. Iliamna. To my left was Iliamna. In the middle was the sign. And to my right was Redoubt.

Ginny's garden: Garden Diary
http://ginnysgarden.blogspot.com/p/garden-diary.html
What grows in my garden. I'll add another page to give some background and history on how I've gotten to this point - I'm working on collecting pictures and putting them in chronological order - a little tedious and not high on the priority list at the moment. But I'll get there! Meanwhile, I'm going to jump right in with a record of what I did over the weekend. These entries will be in reverse chronological order so that the newest is at the top. April 24, 2012. September 29, 2011. July 26, 2011. It was...

Ginny's garden: Demanding an audience
http://ginnysgarden.blogspot.com/2013/06/demanding-audience.html
What grows in my garden. Wednesday, June 5, 2013. Surely I want to preserve the moment for myself - the photos, after all, will remind me of the smells and the sounds and the awe. But it's more than that. I know it's more because the next thing I want to do is show someone the photos I've taken. I want to share the experience. Is this universally true of gardeners - that we all want to share our gardens? This time of year there is so much I want to share! A sweet flower for a sweet dog. And, yes, I know ...
