a bit distracted: October 2006
http://a-bit-distracted.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Life doesn't have to be a spectator sport. Sunday, October 29, 2006. I'm reading a book called Two Lives by Vikram Seth. It started off quite fascinating, then got a bit dull.but I have a strangely tenacious streak that prevents me from abandoning a book once started (unless it's REALLY rubbish). So, can anyone tell me whether this book is actually worth finishing (and preferably some tempting hint about adventures and interesting bits to come.)? Posted by Katy Ludditt @ 10:27 PM. Is it Christmas already?

Life doesn't have to be a spectator sport. Tuesday, March 31, 2009. You can't keep a good blog down. Came the cry across continents (over IM, natch). And so the world of PR celebrated - dancing in the streets and popping champagne corks to drown out the whimpers from the likes of Chris Lewis et al who will - once again - have to retain a lawyer just to get these pesky blogs gagged all over again. Life doesn't have to be a spectator sport. Wednesday, December 31, 2008. New Year cancelled".so says Dubai. What a strange turn of events this morning in the land of sand. Not only did the thick fog make it so dark that I assumed my morning alarm had got it all wrong, but then I turn on the radio and - guess what - Dubai has. Is this an effective act of support or an excuse for party-poopering? Posted by Katy Ludditt @ 8:53 AM. Tuesday, December 30, 2008. With just six working days until I head to Austra...

Life doesn't have to be a spectator sport. Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Boy, when the shutters go down in this town, they really shut tight. I'm hearing a lot of frustration from journalists that simply cannot get companies to talk since the whirlwind of economic turmoil hit the shores of Dubai. Imagine what it would be like if we were as badly affected as the rest of the world! You can't stop communicating. Even when you say nothing, that's a statement" (Watzlawick). Life doesn't have to be a spectator sport. Friday, June 30, 2006. Blogging plays with your mind. Having set up a site, everything you see, hear, talk about and read becomes something to analyse and mull over. Is it inciteful social commentary, or just another rambling? This is procrastination on a whole new level. Posted by Katy Ludditt @ 5:03 PM. The end of the line. I have a theory that the place to look for missing people is Upminster. Life doesn't have to be a spectator sport. Wednesday, November 28, 2007. Homelessness now coupled with sleepless nights about losing the flat. The problem is the deposit - it's not much, but nothing seems to work here like it should do. HSBC Fraud Squad even went so far as to shut down my account because someone (me, you fruitloops! Attempted to withdraw two vaguely big transactions in a row! Frustrations aside, it feels like I'm on holiday rather than trying to set up a new life here! The contents of TO...

Life doesn't have to be a spectator sport. Sunday, September 17, 2006. I don't feel like dancing. Except I do, and I did - last night at the Scissor Sisters gig in Trafalgar Square. I must be a very luck girl to see the band twice in 6 days! They were brilliant at Bestival but last night was absolutely totally and utterly amazing. If only for the costumes (at times a little toooo revealing on Jake! And so much energy! Posted by Katy Ludditt @ 2:36 PM. Friday, September 15, 2006. The Jaffa Cake thief.
