boys will be boys: Catalina Island
http://daveanddebsfamily.blogspot.com/2011/09/catalina-island.html
Boys will be boys. It was so charming and picture perfect as we pulled into the bay. Everyone there rides golf carts so we had to take one out for a spin. We quickly learned that a golf cart doesn't get you very far on the island since most of the areas restricted from the rentals. It was a fun thing to do for a couple hours. One of the funnest things we've ever done! There were 5 different zip lines we got to do, the views were fantastic, and our guides were so much fun. Way to celebrate big!

boys will be boys: Southern California
http://daveanddebsfamily.blogspot.com/2011/09/southern-california.html
Boys will be boys. It took us over 9 years but we finally made it back to Southern California for a quick visit. I wish we would have done it many years ago, but better late than never! We always planned on taking the boys to Disneyland, but with family reunions, school, and busy work schedules it just hadn't happened.yet. My mom called and offered to watch the boys so how could we resist a trip for the two of us? Luckily our great friends Darcy and Curtis are still the area which made it extra fun.

boys will be boys: Ironman
http://daveanddebsfamily.blogspot.com/2010/05/ironman.html
Boys will be boys. I'm happy to say that HE DID IT! Dave is an IRONMAN! He finished in 16:32, (at 11:30pm) just a half hour shy of the cut off and he loved it! It was very inspiring just to be a part of it. It was especially great to have both of our parents there to cheer him on throughout the day. Dave's parents, the kids and I, and Rob were all able to be at the finish line which was awesome! More on the rest of our trip later. May 18, 2010 at 10:31 AM. Dave, you are amazing as always! Way to go Dave!

Boys will be boys. First Day of Kindergarten. Monday was a big day at our house. Dallin's first day of Kindergarten! He's been sooooo excited! Last week we went shopping for school supplies. He really wanted to buy a bike lock so he could ride his bike to school. He learned the combination and was so proud to lock it up at his new school. It only took us 10 minutes to get to school. Dallin loves his teacher and just wishes school was longer (so does his mommy! Hopefully it will be a great year!

boys will be boys: The Unexpected Birthday Surprise
http://daveanddebsfamily.blogspot.com/2010/07/unexpected-birthday-surprise.html
Boys will be boys. The Unexpected Birthday Surprise. That's when I realized he had injured his arm in the inflatable obstacle course. He's a pretty tough kid, but he just could't stop crying. I knew it was bad when he told me he "wished he never had a 7th birthday" and he just wanted to go home. So it turns out he fractured his arm! He was all smiles when he found out he was getting a cast! Casts have sure come a long way since I was a kid! Opening presents seemed to cheer him up a bit. How fun that he g...
