I have wept many days, and I have enjoyed laughing with friends many days. I have enjoyed the time I got to dance, play, and have fun with my students. Joy on the Journey. This is just a few bits and pieces in the lives of the Carr Family. Thursday, October 14, 2010. Shannon flew down for a getaway weekend with Lisa and me. It was really fun and kind of neat being that it was Lisa's half way point on being finished with Chemo. We didn't waste any time starting in on the fun! We began our trip at Tortuga's on the Island. Of course a trip to Galveston would never be complete without their warm salsa and homemade guacamole table-side.yummo! We had a blast!
