So far, I have found a parrot, a babies binky (pacifier), what might be a hair brush, a watch and balloons. Am I just crazy? What can you see? November 19, 2011 at 11:35 PM. Graphic Design I @ Parkland College. September 29, 2011. I found this in Computer Arts magazine. forgot which issue. No I didn't. I found this image in a book titled Schwab. The artist is Schwab. The image came from page 110. I like this simply because it is simple, peaceful, and reminds me of Noah in the bible. I suppose that it could be used in a lot of ways, from children's books to church fliers. September 20, 2011. Graphic Artist Michael Schwab. It is simple, and the outline usually defines the image.

Vic's GDS-120: Illustration
http://vicsgds120.blogspot.com/2011/11/illustration_12.html
Graphic Design I @ Parkland College. November 12, 2011. Computer Arts - December '08'. I choose this illustration for its use of color. I like the female quality of it. I don't understand the dripping near the bottom, oh well. I also like the graphic nature of the image. It's not exactly animated, but yet the eyes and the hair strongly resemble an animated girl from today's modern electronic games. In fact, this image could be used to sell an X-Box game. Graphic Design I @ Parkland College. November 5, 2011. Illustration of pop star. Computer Arts Sep. 08. OK I know that I have been a little slack on posting my images here. This is an illustration apparently in done in watercolor. I have no clue who Lily is, but the image caught my eye. It kind of reminds me of our watercolor exercise where we painted the window frame with the bottle of twigs and grasses, a couple of rocks and a sponge. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Graphic Design I @ Parkland College. October 22, 2011. Computer Arts Dec. '08'. I chose this image because of the color scheme and the fact that it uses a real model plus the additional design around the model. It is a part of a tutorial in Computer Arts magazine ( Dec. '08' ) where the illustrator ( I'm assuming Doug Alves ) is instructing readers on how to duplicate this style of art. Award Winning Design: by the hand of God. Artist: God in Heaven. Various colors and opacity. There are a couple of spots that have no color, I do not think that they fit, but the designer did, so who cares what I think. November 10, 2011 at 10:48 PM.
